update error 8007370A (can't run SFC Scan )

I haven't been able to update windows (7x64) for past week ,i have CheckSUR log but i can't run SFC Scan I've followed all of the online Microsoft recommendations here; Unable to install updates in Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 R2 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2509997) Method 3 is where i hit the wall ,Any help would be appreciated.
