windows 7 updates

hi i work on a place that repairs computers, i have one pc laptop dell ,wich i made the dell recovery, emediatly after that, i try to do the updates and said to reboot as the service was disabled but it isnt. I try to do by our hard disks we rum a program that have all updates for 7, it starts installing sp1 and says catastrofic error. What is hapenning here ? the defender is down. i read...
