PROBLEM with 8/15 MS Office update

Today (8/15) MS Office wanted to install an update to my laptop (MS OFFICE Starter). It downloaded via wifi and all seemed aok UNTIL I tried to use any MS Office component, WORD, EXCEL, etc. Now every time I try and open anything OFfice I get a INFO box that states" *MS Office is downloading the required feature and may be unresponsive as files are downloaded." * THe system is NOT...
