I have an older laptop that I'd like to gift to some teenagers and I'm trying to get it to the point of hand off without wiping the drive; that way it still has Office, etc.
Unfortunately, I think it crashed during an update a couple of years ago. This seems to have generated the 80080005 update error, which means that it won't take updates. I'm trying to figure out if I can somehow...
