W7 won't update

I ran the Windows 7 Fix and the update fix and then I ran Malwarebytes, Trend Micro Housecall and AVG antivirus. When I try and update, it starts downloading SP1 but it will not complete. This is an Acer Aspire 5532 laptop with an AMD Athelon 64 processor and 3gb ram. Before I ran the update fix it would try to update every time it was turned off.
