I had windows 10 and I rolled back to win 7
So mouse and keyboard stopped working
They works fine on bois and Hirens boot CD
But they stopped working when windows login page pop up,
So I cannot put ky password to login.
I unplugged mouse and keyboard and I used different usb ports for both of them but still not working.
Im usign Gigabyte Motherboard and BT USB mouse and keyboard....

I have a freshly installed (NOT YET ACTIVATED, i want to try it before buying) Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 x64.

Cannot check for Win 7 updates after reserving Win 10
I decided to reserve a copy of Windows 10 to potentially install at a later date as I do not have time at the moment. This was an effort in itself as it turns out Windows requires IE11 to be enabled.
However, I did not know that the Windows 10 app would constantly nag you to upgrade and I cancelled my reservation. I cannot check for updates as it just says that I am ready to upgrade to Windows...

Windows Update stuck checking.
So we have this Acer laptop that, of course, came with all kinds of crap installed that starts up with it.

I have not installed any of them to my knowledge.

Windows 7 Activation after hadware change and clean install later on
I while back I put a new hard drive in & swapped out a stick of Ram for a bigger one in a Toshiba laptop (OEM Key) at the same time.
I had to re-activate it by calling Microsoft up and do the phone verification to get the confirmation ID.
It has been activated without issues for a while.
