Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium SP1 Product Not Eligible for Upgrade?
I'm ttrying to get the Windows 10 Upgrade, but after going through some help screen, It's telling me that my product is not eligible for an upgrade.
I'm just wondering why that is. I have Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium SP1 that I purchased with a new HP Pavilion desktop computer. I have a product key. why isn't this eligible for W 10? Any ideas?

Cannot update to Windows 10 from Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Tried several times to update to Windows 10 from Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit with no luck. I keep getting the 80070005 error from the update. Clean Install Is Windows Update on Strike
Hi Guys
Ive just done another clean install of Home Premium x64 the third one in two days, and cannot get any windows updates, just hangs on searching for updates, no error code doesn't even time out.
The first time I thought it was a corrupt install so tried again same thing. Today i downloaded my saved iso from one drive and re applied to a new usb and bugger me still cant get any updates...

Windows 7 no longer genuine - error 0x80070005

I get error code 0xC004C008 when trying to Activate
So I had originally Windows 10 on my computer until I kept getting CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT blue screen of deaths so I thought "Why not Install Windows 7 Ultimate again and then reinstall Windows 10" So I did that any now I am getting error code 0xC004C008 whenever I try to activate it.

Yesterday 1.203.1791 security definitions update for Microsoft Essentials downloaded and it was the small definitions update that I usually get. Today 1.203.1799 came in through windows update and it was the entire definitions data base - over 170MB. Windows update showed that it failed on error 8070670. Windows 7 SP1 problem!!!
Windows 7 SP1 does not show on my computer system section under Windows Edition. When I search view installed updates I found the file Service pack for windows (KB976932) but I tried to delete it to no avail. Solved Cannot update Windows 7 without being forced to download Windows 10
I'm holding off on upgrading to Windows 10, and Windows 10 has been intentionally trying to install itself despite that. I cannot shut down my computer without going through the log-off screen to pick "Shut down" without installing updates.
Then a bunch of updates for Windows 7 were released, and I can't install any of them because as soon as I do, Windows Update starts downloading Windows...
