Windows Update Error Code: 800736B3
Hi,
Whenever I try to run windows update it seems to fail, the error code i get is 800736B3.
I have followed the instructions and ran the hotfix and sfc scan however the problem still persists.
I have attached the files that i can, however when compressing the CBS folder it totals to 196MB so its impossible to upload here.
Any help would be much appreciated!

Can't update to windows 10
So I got the prompt that the download for Windows 10 has started. When I click the "View download progress" button in the "Get Windows 10" window, it brings me to the ""Windows Update window where it starts checking for new updates but it always fails with error code: 80244019
Any ideas why?

Code 80073712 when trying to install KB3021674
I run windows update on a regular basis and have not had any problems with other recent updates, but KB3021674 will not install. Instead, I get error code 80073712.
I have run SFC /scannow as suggested elsewhere and it did not find any errors.
I have also run CHKDSK as suggested elsewhere and it did not find any errors.
I tried to run SURT but it is for x64 based systems and not applicable...

Can't update to Windows 10, error 8007002C-4000D
I'm trying to update to Windows 10 but the installation fails because of 8007002C-4000D. After running sfc /scannow and reading the log, I've learned that the problem seems to be with two Windows Unified Telemetry Client files:
- utc.app.json
- telemetry.ASM-WindowsDefault.json

solve pc issue updates
I have Windows updates set to update automatically but in the task bar the Solve PC issue icon tells me I have one issue. It states that I should change Windows update settings. They are on automatic updating yet I keep getting this message to change the settings. Switching off my Avast virus software makes no difference.

update fails, SP1 install fails, troubleshooter fails
I'm simply attempting to run update on my Windows 7 machine. Update will not run, downloading and running the SP1 update fails, downloading and running the Update Readiness Tool fails, trying to launch a troubleshooter fails. One of my concerns is that if i do the free upgrade then next year when i have to reformat my hd I wont be able to use the Dell reinstall cd, it has 7 on it. Will 10 free still be available?

Clean install 7 home premium,windows update not downloading, no error
It has ran for 2 hrs. and nothing. SURT has ran for hrs. also, but it's not going to find any updates.
I ran SFC and it found nothing wrong.
I have gotten no error codes.
I am attaching the CBS.zip and the windowsupdate log.zip.
The last couple lines in the update log go on for hundreds of lines to the end so. I deleted them.

Windows checking for update hangs
Hello everyone,
Yesterday I wanted to clean install windows 7.
(This because I have a problem getting the Windows 10 notification app, but that's a different story)
So after installing Windows 7 Home premium 64 bit (official version) I ran some automatically updates.
Several of them installed with no problem. After getting the Service Pack 1 update I had to reboot the computer again....

Unable to activate windows due to a missing product key character

Nature Of The Problem: The sticker on the bottom of the laptop has some characters erased which is why i am unable to activate my windows. Trying to stop upgrade to Win 10 through Win 7 Update
I am trying to still get Windows Updates for Windows 7 but am trying to stop the upgrade to Windows 10. So far I have had to hide the following updates (also see attached), otherwise Windows Update starts the download process for Windows 10:
