I keep getting error that these updates keep failing. i have already tried the windows troubleshooting and it didnt help. i also have tried the windows update reset. i should also note that yesterday 36 failed but for some reason today when i ran the update again it accepted some of them. i have tried resetting my computer a few times also but it hasn't done anything.

Registry adjusts when reboot after using Disk Cleanup
I am not an expert. At least once a month I use Disk Cleanup and delete (a) all but the latest restore point if all seems well and (b) the table of items that can be deleted that appears on first run of Disk Cleanup. I did this on Sunday 23 March and, when turning the computer OFF, saw that adjustments were being to the registry. Nothing like that happened when I turned the machine back ON.

Windows 7 Says it's not a valid install.
I just bought a used computer from a local repair store. After 1 day I got the message saying I don't have a valid copy of Windows 7. Recently had a work laptop passed onto me as part of my new job.
I cannot get Windows Update to work - either minor updates or IE11 which is the only important update to install.
IE11 fails on install, the minor updates fail to configure after rebooting after an update.

Suddenly I'm getting a message that "Windows is not genuine", but if I'm opening explorer, going to system properties, just when is showing "windows is activated"
